What You Can Do To Fight Planned Parenthood
There is much that you can do to fight Planned Parenthood. First, sign up in the box on the right to receive news, updates and urgent action alerts. Then see the list below for actions you can take to prevent Planned Parenthood from operating in our community.
Since Planned Parenthood opened October 2, 2007 Families Against Planned Parenthood has maintained a continuous pro-life presence at the site (map) every hour that it's open.
Rain or shine, day or night, hot or cold, we will be there praying that Planned Parenthood shuts down once and for all. Please joins us, and sign up for an hour of prayer.
Through marches, pickets, protests, rallies and meetings, you can help inform our community about the true threat that Planned Parnethood poses to our families, and encourage our elected officials to do all they can to protect us.
- Tuesday, Jul 7, 2009: Pro-Life Mass and Farewell Supper for Fr. Barr at Holy Cross, Batavia—7 p.m.
- Pro-life priest Fr. Timothy Barr, who has faithfully served at Holy Cross parish in Batavia and been heavily involved in our fight against Planned Parenthood, is leaving Holy Cross in July for a new assignment at St. Thomas the Apostle in Crystal Lake.
- Fr. Barr will celebrate his final Mass at Holy Cross on Tuesday, July 7 at 7 p.m., followed by a rosary, and then a potluck supper. Bring a dish to share according to your last name:

- I-P Fruit, Veggies or Salad
- Q-Z Desserts
- All are encouraged to bring drinks to share.

- Join your fellow pro-lifers in thanking Fr. Barr for his faithful ministry at Holy Cross by attending this special Pro-Life Mass and supper.
- Friday, Jul 10, 2009: Summer "Face the Truth" Tour across NE IL—All Day 7/10 - 7/18
- The Pro-Life Action League's Summer "Face the Truth" Tour across Northeast Illinois will take place July 10 - 18. Join pro-lifers from all over northeast Illinois as you show the public what abortion really looks like.
- Graphic images of the victims of abortion will be held along major intersections in a different region each day. Get the full itinerary for the tour at the League's website and join in for a day in your area or follow the whole tour!
- Saturday, Jul 18, 2009: "Face the Truth" Protest at Planned Parenthood—9 to 10:30 a.m.
- The Pro-Life Action Leauge's "Face the Truth" Tour is coming for July's third Saturday protest at Planned Parenthood, 3051 E. New York Street (map). Large graphic aboriton signs, or picket signs for those who prefer, will be provided. The Tour will also visit Washington and Ogden in Naperville from 11:30-1:00 (map) and Route 59 and New York Street (Fox Valley Mall) from 3:00-4:30 (map).
Let your family and friends know about our prayer witness and about how dangerous Planned Parenthood is. Sign up for e-mail alerts (see the box at the top of this page on the right side), and forward them to your contacts. Print out the flyers available on the Tools page and pass them out at church or in the neighborhood.
Residents of Illinois' Fox Valley can also put up a pro-life yard sign, reading "Planned Parenthood BAD for Aurora" or "Planned Parenthood BAD for Fox Vally". For details, send an e-mail with your name, address and telephone number, and our Sign Captains will get in touch.
Contact your children's principal, the local school board, and the superintendent of your school district and tell them not to let Planned Parenthood into the school, under any circumstance or under any cover.
